HdR represents and embodies the spirit of Rhône varieties and those who produce the wines made of these unique winegrapes.

Each year, HdR produces an exceptional three-day event that is globally regarded as the single most essential and enjoyable gathering of international Rhône wine producers and enthusiasts. Attendees expand their knowledge of the 22 Rhône varieties, while rubbing elbows with the winemakers whose passion spurs the inspiration and energy that sets the tone for every seminar, meal, and tasting.

A perpetual non-profit business league, HdR hosts the annual Robert Parker California Rhône Tasting and continues to provide educational opportunities.

Rhône producers pour two of their favorite wines alongside a number of artisan and specialty food producers. Café Musique will perform their unique arrangements of gypsy, tango, classical, swing and waltzes.

One of the most comprehensive tastings of Rhône wines, with producers from throughout the world. It has been noted that to duplicate this tasting, one would require a passport, numerous flights and a few weeks of travel.
