A white Rhone-style blend of 65% Viognier and 35% Roussanne from the Derby Vineyard (formerly the Rosette Vineyard) located on the Westside of Paso Robles.
Beautiful light-gold, brassy tones are displayed on the wine’s appearance. White peach, lemongrass, talc and a touch of honeysuckle on the nose. The minerality of the vineyard underlies the array of fruit-driven aromas. Crisp golden apple and lemon gelato flavors envelop the palate. Medium weight with the same minerality creeping in on the lush, creamy mouth finish. One of the better wine blends that I have tasted over the last year. Absolutely delicious!
14.3% alcohol and 300 cases produced.
